Stanley Gavidia is an artist originally from El Salvador. Through the medium of oil his images reflect the impact of magical realism from his Latin culture. Do not ask Stanley the meaning of a painting. His work flows organically and is often surprising to him. He leaves it to the viewer to establish an emotional connection and fix a personal significance. With each interaction with one of his paintings its truth can evolve.
Come see Stanley Gavidia’s one man show Circo de la Vida that is part of La Casa de Don Pedro’s La Famlia Festival this Saturday, August 25th. The gallery will be open from Noon to 5 pm and located at One Bloomfield Place which is around the corner from 95 Broadway.
