On Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm Artfront Galleries will host the opening reception for Urban Evidence III, Urban Strategies. This show supports Artfront Galleries’ primary mission of “activating vacant spaces with artistic vision”. Thanks to the generosity of JAR Realty we are taking over a vacant storefront that was formally a tattoo parlor at 372 Broad Street in Newark. Come and see how we transform this empty space and help revitalize this largely ignored stretch of Broad Street.
Urban Strategies is curated by Susan O’Rourke and Dino Gravato and includes 50 works of art by 15 artists – Ian Costello, Serron, Kortez, Patricia Arias-Reynolds, Janet Morgan, Latinsilver, Anna Muniz, Earthly Artisan, Luisa Pinzon, Malik Whitaker, Genesis Tramaine, Michael Teters, Rafael Cuello, Michael Pared, and Dino Gravato
