Near And Far Exhibition

Near & Far explores how, despite physical or emotional distance, we remain connected through shared human experiences that weave us together by a common thread.

This exhibition invites artists to reflect on the invisible ties that link people, places, and stories across distance. Though we may live miles apart or experience the world through different cultures, histories, and perspectives, many of our emotions and experiences remain universal.

Artists are encouraged to interpret the theme broadly, exploring ideas of connection, separation, migration, memory, identity, community, and belonging. Works may reflect physical distance, emotional landscapes, cultural bridges, or the ways technology and movement shape how we relate to one another.

As part of this gathering of art and community, we are also excited to welcome Cova Coffee to Newark — adding another space where conversation, creativity, and connection can thrive.
