newark housing authority demontrates commitment to the arts

Artfront Galleries has been privileged to produce three pop-up art galleries at the Newark Housing Authority’s Waterfront Recreation Center in the past.  Unfortunately the building requirements forced us to use alternative hanging methods that resulted in occasional damage to the artwork. Working closely with the NHA’s  Allison Durham and Debra Morgan we have come up with an excellent solution.

The NHA has demonstrated its commitment to the arts by investing in a state-of-the-art hanging system.   The first system was installed at at the Waterfront Recreation Center yesterday.  Best of all the NHA also plans to install the same system at the Clubhouse and the soon to be opened TREC.  Artfront Galleries is pleased to announce that we have reached agreement with the NHA to produce galleries at all three locations as part of the 2016 Newark Arts Council’s Open Doors.

Thanks to everyone who made this happen. Stay tuned for additional information on all the exciting events Artfront Galleries plans for these locations.
